The Mount Airy Farm Festival is a two‑day event highlighting 250 years of Virginia agriculture and industry. It features historic demonstrations, children’s activities, vendors, and educational displays. Visitors can explore a wide range of historic demonstrations that showcase the artistry and labor of early Virginia trades. From basket weaving and chair caning to blacksmithing, colonial bowl making, and fiber arts, the festival brings these traditional skills to life through live, interactive displays. Cowboy camp reenactments and copper and tin smithing add even more depth to the historical experience.
