Petersburg: Independence Day Fireworks (Trapezium Brewing)

Date: July 3, 2026

Time: Event begins 6:00 PM; fireworks at dusk

Details: Free community event honors both America’s birthday and Virginia’s 250th, bringing families, friends, and neighbors together for an evening filled with music, food, and fireworks. Music performance by Cody Christian and Inside Out Band.


Fort Lee Freedom 250 Fireworks

Date: July 2, 2026

Time: 5:00 PM–10:00 PM; fireworks at approximately 9:35 PM

Address: Williams Stadium, Fort Gregg‑Adams, 3900 Lee Avenue, Fort Gregg‑Adams, VA 23801

Details: A major America 250 celebration featuring free admission, over 20 food trucks, music, and a KidZone opening at 5 PM. A DJ kicks off the event, followed by a large fireworks show at 9:35 PM. Rain date is July 3 (fireworks and KidZone only). Security: No personal pyrotechnics, tailgating, tents, umbrellas, glass bottles, smoking, backpacks, coolers, or pets. Clear plastic or mesh bags only. All attendees ages 18+ must complete Real ID security checks. Installation access must be completed by June 30 at pass.aie.army.mil.
