Multicultural Festival Brings the World Together This Weekend

In celebration of Immigrant Heritage Month and World Refugee Day, Richmond's Office of Immigrant and Refugee Engagement, Henrico County’s Outreach & Engagement Agency, and ReEstablish Richmond are partnering to host this year’s Multicultural Festival: Imagine 2026.

The festival takes place on Saturday, June 27 - and it’s totally free. Expect bold flavors, vibrant performances, and a beautiful showcase of the cultures that make RVA shine. 

Event Details


  • Date: Saturday, June 27, 2026
  • Time: 1:00 PM–8:00 PM 
  • Location: Richmond Raceway, 600 East Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA 23227
  • Cost: Free Admission

What to Expect


  • Live Cultural Performances:  Dance, music, drumming, and traditions from countries around the world, running from 1:45 PM through the evening. Headline band kicks off at 7:00 PM to close out the night.
  • Interactive Kids’ Area: Hands‑on crafts, games, and cultural activities designed just for children.
  • Community Booths: Over 70 local organizations sharing resources, stories, and ways to get involved
  • Global Food Options: A chance to try dishes from different cultures
  • Artisan & Cultural Displays: Handmade goods, cultural items, and interactive exhibits.
  • The Virginia Museum of History and Culture will have their mobile display of “We the People” and unveil a new art piece.
