Looking for fun ways to keep the kids active and engaged during Spring Break in Dinwiddie County? This year, the Eastside Enhancement Center and the Ragsdale Community Center are hosting a full week of activities that welcome all ages and abilities. Families can enjoy themed days, hands on fun, and community connection all week long. Kids under 12 must attend with an adult. These are not drop off events. Parents are expected to remain with or near their children throughout the activities.
Below is a look at what is happening each day.
Monday March 30
National Walk in the Park
Location: Five Forks Visitors Center
Time: 10 AM to 4 PM
Education Walk begins at 1 PM
Families can enjoy a beautiful day outdoors while learning about nature and local wildlife.
Tuesday March 31
National Crayon Day
Location: Eastside Enhancement & Ragsdale Community Centers
Time: 11 AM to 7 PM
Kids can celebrate creativity with coloring activities and crayon themed fun.
Wednesday April 1
Carrots Oh My
Location: Eastside Enhancement Center
Time: 5 PM
A playful and interactive carrot themed event perfect for younger children and families.
Thursday April 2
Carrots Oh My
Location: Ragsdale Community Center
Time: 5 PM
If you missed Wednesday’s event you can join the fun again at Ragsdale.
Friday April 3
National Rainbow Day
Location: Eastside Enhancement & Ragsdale Community Centers
Time: 11 AM to 7 PM
Celebrate color and creativity with rainbow themed activities to close out Spring Break.
