The City of Petersburg Recreation Department is excited to kick off the upcoming youth basketball season, continuing its legacy of promoting athletic excellence and community spirit.
This season, young athletes can look forward to thrilling games, skill-building opportunities, and plenty of fun. Petersburg is proud to partner with the Central Virginia Sports Coalition, giving older players the chance to compete against teams from Charles City, Dinwiddie, Hopewell, Fort Lee, Colonial Heights, and Prince George. These games not only elevate the level of competition but also foster sportsmanship and camaraderie among players from different communities.

- Registration Opens: October 6, 2025
- Registration Deadline: November 14, 2025

- Open to youth ages 4 to 15
- Girls basketball divisions will continue for older age groups, providing a dedicated space for female athletes to thrive

- $30 for City of Petersburg residents
- $40 for non-residents
